We are sorry to inform you that registration for our 2018 Johns Creek Household Hazardous Waste Event has closed. Due to our limited budget, we were only allowed to accept 600 participants. We have already exceeded this limit and are unable to accept any more registrants. Please feel free to use this form to express any comments or suggestions that you have and we will pass them along to the Johns Creek City Council and Mayor.


Please note, if you have not pre-registered, please DO NOT attend. You will not be allowed to attend this event. No exceptions.

How to register


1. Verify City of Johns Creek residency at:

2. Review this information:

​​Materials Accepted

Households only—no businesses, please

  • Paint (Limit 10 containers, max 10 gallons combined)

  • Solvents, Cleaners, Aerosols

  • Herbicides, Pesticides

  • Motor Oil, Anti-Freeze, Gasoline

  • Mercury (thermostats, thermometers)

  • Batteries and electronics (CRTs, monitors, etc.)*

    • NOTE:  No alkaline (AA, AAA, A, B, C, 9V) batteries, please.  These can be safely disposed of in your regular trash.  reference

  • Propane cylinders, Fire Extinguishers, Smoke detectors

  • Cooking Oils

  • Fluorescent bulbs


*A note about TV's and Monitors:  These items are expensive to recycle properly.  Please review these retailer/manufacturer take-back programs before bringing your TV or monitor to this event as a last resort. Thank you!


Not Accepted:

  • NO Medical waste, needles

  • NO Ammunition, explosives

  • NO Pharmaceuticals

  • NO Non-hazardous items​​
