- Keep North Fulton Beautiful, Gas South and the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce presents their second quarter Evergreen Business Award to Appen Newspapers for their environmental stewardship. Appen Publications changed to a paperless proofing concept saving thousands of paper and trees, has an active recycling program, uses 100 recycled newsprint for their printing, and focuses many of their articles on the green movement in the cities they serve.
- Congratulations to Whole Foods Market-Johns Creek, winner of the Evergreen Business Award in Johns Creek!!
At the January meeting of the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce, we will honor Whole Foods as the first recipient of an Evergreen Business Award for a Johns Creek Company that is doing outstanding programs in environmental sustainability. The Evergreen Business Award is a program that is co-sponsored by Keep North Fulton Beautiful, the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce and Gas South. Thanks to GAS SOUTH for the funding of this program.
Recipients will be recognized at the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce monthly membership meetings. Winners will receive a certificate and a banner that can be hung in their business to display their award. Awards will be presented quarterly: Jan., April, July and Oct.
