Community Service

If you are interested in doing community service with us, please call 770-551-7794 or stop by the center during regular hours to sign up.

Work is available year round, 7 days a week except major holidays. We prefer that you work a minimum of 4 hours per work shift.

Hours: M-Sat 8am -4pm; Sun. 9am - 4pm.

Type of work: Work is mostly outdoors and involves helping customers with unloading their recyclable items, keeping the center clean, bending and lifting lightweight items such as glass bottles, aluminum cans, cardboard, etc.

Dress code: Casual; wear closed toes shoes. Work is outdoors so dress for the weather. No halter tops, saggy pants, shirts with offensive language, or revealing clothing.

Marta accessible: Bus stops on Roswell Road at Morgan Falls Road; we are one mile west of Roswell Road.

Please note: No smoking is allowed on premises. Bring lunch or snack; no restaurants within walking distance.
